I'm always interested to know how other writers tackle the mammoth task that's writing a novel! I've read Hana Khan so it's interesting to see how you brought the story to life. I agree with you about the real magic happening in the revising and editing stage. It's painful and I much rather go to the dentist but it's worth it.

Thank you for sharing. I really tried to outline my plot before I started writing my first novel. But then once I had about 70% of the plot down I got stuck and started just writing, hoping that the ending would come and alhamdulillah it did. But now I’m dreading the rewrite stage, because like you, I didn’t read back over any of it as I was writing!

So interesting to read your process and see the outline for the book, after having read it! I wondered as I read Three Holidays and a Wedding how complicated it must have been to write a novel with another person but it was so seamless and well done!
